This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

Donna thought she had seen the plane for five to six minutes, but according to the
geographics of the terrain, she would have only been able to see a plane at 850 ft
altitude for 4 minutes if she was driving at 100 km as that would have placed her
at around 7 kms further south from where she first saw it and her vision in the direction
she said the plane turned to, would have been obscured by hills after that. 
To proceed further, we need to examine a couple of Reports as there is something
I’ve noticed that seems to be common within some eyewitness Reports.
Going back to the John Davis Report.... and what I initially thought when I first
read this Report (as explained previously)... presuming my initial thought was correct....
Let’s now put this Report graphically on to Google Earth to help understand what
is being said here:
Note he says John Davis saw the plane from Crowthers Road to the EAST and infers
this confirms the Father/son Report?.... But the Father/son Report is to the WEST!
I’m not in any way having a go at Jesse over this as if we are all honest with ourselves,
we have probably all have made this mistake... many times!...
Why?... I think it is because North and South have a defined point where we can say
they are, whereas East and West is only a direction and so East/West is very easy
to get mixed up. I have even observed a high houred Airline Pilot make this very
mistake as it is a very easy one to make.
