This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I  only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

The area the initial Air Force searches were concentrated on was defined as between Westport, Inangahura Junction, and Mt Crusader.

The entire length of the Mohikanui River was searched.... (all by air)


As far as I can tell, there was no official search at the time south west of Inangahura Junction in the area suggested in this article.
