This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I  only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

This is this same gun pit in Wellington in 2002. (Photo: Darcy Waters)  Note there is a third ammunition cupboard that was obscured in this pit by the gun in the early photo, but there is still no sign of a ‘cupboard’ extending to ground level as at North Head. Hence, the only logical assumption that can be drawn from this is that these cut outs in the North Head gun pit were in fact ammunition hoists.

Summing up, I like the words of  Joseph Priestly, who was in the RNZ Army stationed on North Head 1956-58,  “I appreciate that in the transaction of North Head changing from a military establishment to a public domain that these places would be covered up for security and safety reasons but to deny their existence is simply untrue!” (Emphasis added by me)

The continued denials and covering up of evidence on North Head by people in authority is simply beyond belief.

Martin Butler needs every bit of help he can get to overturn this nonsense and let the truth prevail.

Check out his website: tunnelvision.net.nz  and buy a copy of his book to assist funding to get these tunnels and their contents exposed to the public.
