This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

At this point I wish to acknowledge my sincere thanks to all the sources I have gathered
these photos from, and to be honest, some of them I now would not have a clue as
to where I obtained them from.
Many I have just found on the net, but many have been sourced either directly or
indirectly from the National Libraries of NZ, Devonport Museum, Takapuna Library,
NZ Aerial Mapping, RNZAF Museum - Christchurch, John Earnshaw, and of course Martin
Butler.
Although some sources do not wish for the original photos to be trimmed down, you
will have to admit that there is no other way that I can write these articles and
portray what I am trying to achieve, so if I have offended anyone please accept my
heart-felt apologies as no offence is intended.
I just want to portray how fascinating this subject is!
