At 9.55 pm Flight Sergeant Ferrick took off from Ardmore.
At approximately 10.30 pm Ferrick called up the Ardmore Tower requesting
a weather report and a clearance to join the circuit. He contacted the Tower again regarding the recall of another pilot.
He was never heard from again and there has never been anything found of his
aircraft.
